MAK Architects, a Pakistani architectural design studio, has recently undertaken the design of the entrance gate for Pakistan Rangers. The project is not just a mere entrance gate, but rather a reflection of the prestigious position of Pakistan Rangers in the country’s defense and security domain. The project is aimed at providing a sense of pride and honor to Pakistan rangers who have laid their lives on the line for the protection of their homeland.
The entrance gate design boasts a modern and soft look that sets it apart from other gate designs in the country. The design is simple yet elegant, with a strong focus on functionality and durability. The overall structure is made of steel and concrete, which will ensure long-term sustainability and protection against harsh weather conditions.
The entrance gate design is divided into two main sections, the main gate and the secondary gate. The main gate has two giant steel pillars, with a height of twenty feet, holding the insignia of Pakistan Rangers.
The secondary gate is relatively smaller than the main gate but equally important in terms of functionality. The purpose of this gate is to funnel visitors to security checkpoints, where they will undergo screening by rangers for security purposes.
Furthermore, the MAK architects design emphasizes the use of green spaces in the surrounding areas of the entrance gate. The firm has planted trees, grasses and flowers in the adjacent park, which complement the entrance gate design and allow visitors a relaxing environment while waiting.
